Dust suppression system is beneficial for both, the environment and the human being health. It is installed to reduce pollution at thedemolition sites such as cement manufacturing sites, mines, steel reproduction sites and recycling stations as well. There are mainly two types of dust suppression systems that control the dust from industries: Wet dust suppression system and Dry dust suppression system.
Wet dust suppression system
Wet dust suppression system uses water guns, mists or sprinklers and water spray systemto control dust. Water spray system is mostly used to control industrial and mining facilities. There are two materials. Clean petroleum coke and coal. These materials produce a good amount of dust. Not only that, the dust produced by these materials is difficult to wet. To reduce the dust caused by petroleum coke and coal, the dust suppression systems use surfactants and foams.
Dry dust suppression system
This technique is based on vacuum cleaner method. It is used as a bag house that is equipped with fabric filters. These fabric filters remove dust from the sites and make the place look fresh and healthy.
